The Site is operated by Uhome.lk (“we” / “us”). We are registered in Sri Lanka with our primary operational address at
119, Prince Street, Colombo 11, Sri Lanka.
In respect of goods and services provided by us by means of internet-based transactions, we clearly indicate and
display the following on our website:
A] Return, refund, and cancellation policy.
B] Shipping and/or delivery policy.
C] Customer service contact information.
You may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale on the Site by following the onscreen prompts. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the “Place Order” button on the checkout page.
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail (the “Order Confirmation”) acknowledging that we have received your order, containing an order number and a summary of your purchase. The contract between us will only be formed when you receive the Dispatch Confirmation.
We may choose not to accept your order for any reason, and we will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
We may be unable to process your order if the product you ordered is out of stock, discontinued, or if there is a problem with the authorization of the payment via our payment gateways.
The price of any products will be as quoted on our Site, except in cases of obvious error.
These prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due once you have selected a
delivery service.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you a payment
confirmation.
We cannot complete your order until you have confirmed the payment option. Payment can be made by most major credit and
debit cards, as well as through our official Sri Lankan installment payment partners: Koko and Mintpay.
By using a credit/debit card, Koko or Mintpay to pay for your order, you confirm that the card or account being used is yours or that you are explicitly authorized by the primary
account holder.
All credit card and BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) account holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the
card issuer or the respective payment platform (Koko/Mintpay). If the issuer of your card or the installment platform refuses to authorize
payment, we will not accept your order. We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery, and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason
for the refusal.
We are not responsible for any fees or charges applied by your card issuer, bank, Koko, or Mintpay as a result of processing
your transaction. For Koko and Mintpay specifically, approval and installment schedules are governed entirely by their respective independent
Terms of Service.
Our Site contains a large number of products; despite our best efforts, some may be incorrectly priced. We will rectify any
such errors as soon as we become aware of them. If a product’s correct price differs from the stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you
for instructions or reject your order.
Currently, we accept cards registered outside Sri Lanka, but the delivery address must be a Sri Lankanbased address.
Sales, promotions, discounts, and coupons cannot be combined.
We will deliver the products in accordance with the delivery option specified by you.
We will usually deliver all products comprised in your order in one delivery directly to the address specified. We cannot deliver items within the same order to multiple addresses.
Wherever possible, deliveries will be made to your door. Special notes, such as ID verification, may be checked upon arrival.
Once delivered, the products become your responsibility. Except for products that are damaged, faulty, or incorrectly
delivered, we will not accept any liability for their loss, damage, or destruction after delivery.
Ownership of the products passes to you upon delivery or upon us receiving full payment of all sums due, whichever is later.
An order can be canceled within 6 hours of being placed for a full refund, except for orders
with a same-day delivery option selected.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled.
Exchanges may be possible but will be at our discretion and determined on a case-by-case basis.
We accept no liability for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (including loss of profits,
contracts, goodwill, or opportunity).
This does not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent
misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Sri Lankan law.
We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or nondelivery caused by Acts of God, riots, strikes, weather conditions, mechanical delays, or omissions of any postal service or forwarder.
The shipper shall be liable for all costs and expenses related to the shipment of the package, and for costs incurred
in either returning the shipment or warehousing it pending disposition.
Any formal legal notices should be sent to us at our Customer Services address set out in the Contact Us section.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our
obligations that are caused by events outside our reasonable control.
If any of these Terms & Conditions are declared invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed
deleted, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
We have the right to revise and amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
Failure by us to enforce a right does not result in a waiver of such right.
You and we agree that Sri Lankan law applies to these Terms & Conditions and that any dispute will only be dealt with by Sri Lankan courts.
